Postpartum Care & Infant Specialists

 

Our Postpartum Care is for families who may or may not need a permanent nanny placement. 

There are moments in life that bring the greatest joy, and the birth of your children is by far the greatest. However, the first weeks after the birth of a new baby can also be a very stressful time, as you adjust to having your new little one in your home and your body heals.  A postpartum care provider/infant specialist can help alleviate the stress by providing assistance that is custom tailored to your family's particular needs. this may include caring for the new baby overnight so that you can sleep, caring for older siblings, running errands, and performing household tasks - in addition to providing support and practical assistance to new parents.

Our postpartum caregivers & infant specialists are highly trained in infant care in addition to Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certified.

Postpartum Care & Infant Specialist Rates

Infant Care and Parent Support

Infant Only                    $25.00 hr for the first 4 hours, $20/hr each add'l hour
Twins                            $35.00 hr for the first 4 hours, $28/hr each add'l hour
Triplets**                      $50.00 hr for the first 4 hours, $40/hr each add'l hour
Infant + 1  older child*   $30.00 hr for the first 4 hours, $25/hr each add'l hour

 

*All rates are hourly based with  a minimum charge of 3 hours. We do not permit our infant specialists to care for infants and more than one older child at one time. However, our specialists can care for older children while a parent cares for the infant, or we can send in a nanny to care for older children. 
**Triplets require two infant specialists

 

 

    Hilton Head Nannies is a professional nanny referral agency.  We carefully screen nannies and have very strict requirements for nannies who are on our registry. We do not employ the nannies - they are independent contractors who are employed by and paid directly by our clients.
