Hilton Head Nannies Sponsors Childcare for Marine Ball

Hilton Head Nannies is proud to support our Marines by sponsoring childcare for the 2008 Marine Ball. We appreciate the service of our Marines! Now we'd like to give back by providing care for their children while our service men and women take part in the festivities.

Cross Schools

Hilton Head Nannies is proud to support  Cross Schools by providing gift certificates for the school to auction off. Cross Schools, run by Church of the Cross, provides classes for preschool age to the eight grade. Their goal is to provide an outstanding education, while setting an example in loving others, and learning to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ.

New Walk Productions

Hilton Head Nannies was proud to work with New Walk Productions to provide childcare for the artists of the Art, Music, Justice Tour Concert on October 18th. On the tour were the following great Christian artists: Sara Groves, Sandra McCracken, Derek Webb, Charlie Peacock, and Brandon Heath. A great night was had by all!

Food For The Hungry

Meet Rukumbuzi, a Rwandan child. Hilton Head Nannies sponsors Rukumbuzi because, through Food for the Hungry, we can provide life sustaining care for him. Through letters and pictures, we are learning about Rukumbuzi, his family, his village, and his life and he is able to learn about ours. This sponsorship is geared toward empowering and equipping families and villages to meet the needs of the children, while giving them a hand up that ultimately leads to independence. We are able to provide him with food to eat, clean water to drink, health care, clothing, and schooling.

Food for the Hungry was founded in 1971 by a Dr. Larry Ward. Dr. Ward questioned how to help so many people who needed food. His answer became, "They die one at a time; we can help them one at a time."

Food for the Hungry is a financially responsible organization. Of the funds, 91% goes towards programs, 4% goes towards administration, and 5% goes toward fundraising.  For more information about Food for the Hungry, please visit their website at http://www.fh.org/ .

Feed The Children & The Francis Jones Abandoned Baby Center

It's no secret that we love children. We are blessed to have the opportunity to work with children on a daily basis and all the joy that brings with it. But our responsibilities as child advocates go deeper than providing excellent care to our charges.

One responsibility that is close to our hearts is simply feeding children. In this country and around the world, more than 15 million children die per year of starvation. In the time it's taken you to read this far, the lives of 28 precious children have ended.

Hilton Head Nannies is excited to support Feed the Children. This amazing organization was started by Larry & Frances Jones 29 years ago. Since then, Feed the Children has established an excellent reputation for financial responsibility and accountability with 83% going directly toward program services, 13% toward fundraising, and 4% toward overhead.

As a client of Hilton Head Nannies, your patronage helps us do more for children who desperately need our help. So while you are providing excellent child care for your own children, you are feeding someone else's too. Now that is something you can feel great about!

Hilton Head Nannies is a professional nanny referral agency.  We carefully screen nannies and have very strict requirements for nannies who are on our registry. We do not employ the nannies - they are independent contractors who are employed by and paid directly by our clients.
